Service Tips

1) Weekly Inspection & Removal of Penetrating Objects:

(1)Tyres should be inspected at weekly intervals and all object or debris (nails, etc.)
removed
:
The vehicle must be driven immediately after removing an object which has penetrated the tyre.
If the vehicle is not driven immediately after the removal of a hazardous object, the tyre may
lose air pressure and the puncture may not seal properly
.
Leaving a puncturing object in a tyre for long periods, can result in sealing difficulty once the
object is removed.

This occurs because the rubber will lose its elasticity and conform to the shape of the puncturing
object. When the object is removed, an open hole will remain.
Normal tyre is an aging process in which excess heat accumulates. Tyres lose their elasticity
and strength due to aging
. Aging has a negative impact on tyres in all aspects.
SELLA TSP will help you with a variety of tyre problems, but don't be overconfident. What needs
to be done
must be done. Because SELLA is not magic but Science
.

(2) Caution! Screws must be unscrewed when pull out:
If you pull the screw out strongly, the rubber between the threads of the screw is stripped away
leaving a hole as aresult. This may be the cause of the sealing problem.

For your information, under no circumstances should you make holes. Sealing requires the force
to return to its original state due to the elasticity of the rubber.

2) Size of Puncture SELLA TSP will Seal:
For most trucking operations, 90% of tyre punctures result from objects the size of a twelve-
penny nail, (2.5mm) or smaller
. SELLA TSP was designed and developed to seal these size
punctures, up to 1/4 inch (6mm) in the tread area of tyre, not in the side wall area.

3) When a Puncture Does Not Seal Properly:

Check for the following:

(1) Lack of SELLA TSP in the tyre
(2) Oily or lubricated puncturing object
(3) Valve leaks
(4) Puncturing object has been in tyre for over a month

4) Necessary Tyre Repair:

SELLA TSP is available for normal patching if need be:

These steps should be followed:

1) Clean the puncture area free of SELLA TSP using water and a damp cloth.

2) Patch normally. Make sure it's dry before applying the patch.

3) Reapply the recommended amount of SELLA TSP in the tyre.

Note: SELLA TSP is water soluble for easy removal. In tubeless tyre, simply wash the
inside of the tyre with a hose and dry
.

Tyres run relentlessly, supporting heavy cargo

in the heat of summer and even freezing cold

winter.
